Coverflow - A 3D Gallery for Multimedia Files
Coverflow is an Android program that offers a 3D gallery to explore multimedia files such as pictures, videos, music, and PDF documents. With a user-friendly interface, it generates thumbnails for pictures and movies and provides specific icons for music and PDF files. This app supports various formats for multimedia files, including gif, bmp, jpg, tif, png, avi, wmf, mp4, mkv, wmv, m4v, mpg, flc, mp3, wav, and pdf.
Users can set the folder for browsing, resize the thumbnails, and modify effects like reflection, gap, and rotation angle. The Picasa tool allows downloading pictures and movies on SD card to watch them offline, and users can browse Picasa albums online in a coverflow mode by clicking on the album cover image.
The app requests permission to access external storage, network state, accounts, credentials, and wake lock, which are necessary for saving videos, pictures, and caches on the internet, Picasa API, Samba browsing, accessing Picasa albums, and playing videos without entering screen saver mode. The app has fixed crashes and added several features in previous versions, including PDF thumbnails, horizontal scroll, pinch zoom, Picasa online browsing, and cosmetic improvements.
